Jacques Brodeur was interviewed by Marie-France Bazzo at C'est pas trop tôt! Professor Brodeur talks about the problematic of the brown marmorated stink bug (Halyomorpha halys). The brown marmorated stink bug is an insect native to Asia and a few isolated specimens arrived in Quebec last summer. It has no predators and our climate is suitable for its proliferation. Vigilantly monitored by MAPAQ, the brown marmorated stink bug is a polyphagous insect which could ultimately destroy several crops and take refuge in our homes.
