The Centre SÈVE offers training activities in collaboration with partners offering unique learning opportunities to graduate students.
The Centre SÈVE benefits from the expertise developed by the Centre universitaire d'enrichissement de la formation à la recherche (CUEFR). The CUEFR is a University of Sherbrooke education center offering a short research skills enrichment program to Ph.D. students.
The CUEFR courses are offered in the AgroPhytoSciences curriculum, a training program presented by the Centre SÈVE. In addition, the Centre SÈVE and the CUEFR collaborate in the development of customized courses for plant science graduate students.
The Centre SÈVE is an associate member of the European consortium Edamus-sustainable management of food quality since 2011. Edamus is an international Master program that aims to train experts able to better understand and anticipate the complex problems of food quality management. Researchers from the Centre SÈVE regularly host Edamus trainees, as part of their training program.
BioFuelNet is a Network of Centres of Excellence that brings together Canadian researchers working on advanced biofuels. Students from the Centre SÈVE, participating or not in the AgroPhytoSciences program, can take part in various training and networking activities offered by BioFuelNet.
