Next activities

The Centre invites you to the upcoming Journées du Centre SÈVE.

The 2015 Centre SÈVE annual meeting will take place on November 5 and 6, at the Hôtel Château-Bromont, located in the Eastern Townships, steps away from Mont Brome. We invite you to book these dates!

Preliminary program :

  • Student competition for best oral presentation. Scholarships of $500 each will be awarded to the two students who offered the best oral presentation.
  • Talks by Centre SÈVE researchers.
  • Invited external speakers:

Yves Carrière, professor at the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, The University of Arizona. 

Lacey Samuels, professor and head of the Department of Botany, University of British Columbia. 

Jérôme Théau, professor in the Department of applied geomatics, Université de Sherbrooke. 

  • Two workshops, put in place as part of the AgroPhytoSciences program, will be held on November 6th, in the afternoon:

Advanced technologies: “GBS: genotyping made easy”, by Dr. François Belzile.

Professional skills: “Prendre en main sa carrière de recherche”, by Dr. Nathalie Côté.
