The Centre S\u00c8VE is the only inter-institutional research center in Quebec that brings together researchers in non-forestry plant sciences. Created in 2004, the Centre S\u00c8VE relies on significant financial support from the FRQNT<\/a><\/span> through the program Strategic Clusters<\/a><\/strong>. The Centre S\u00c8VE also receives funding from partner universities, granting agencies supporting its research activities, and other partners.<\/p>

<\/p>

The Centre S\u00c8VE fosters numerous collaborations with partners involved in scientific research, knowledge dissemination, the national and international visibility of the Center, and the training of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students.<\/p>

The Centre S\u00c8VE, through inter-institutional and multidisciplinary collaboration, has high-performance infrastructures. One objective of the Centre S\u00c8VE is to provide the members with common services.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

The Centre S\u00c8VE is grounded in both fundamental and applied research operating at multiple levels: from molecules to ecosystems, from basic knowledge to technology transfer and the development of decision-support tools<\/strong>. What sets the S\u00c8VE Center apart is the breadth and integration of its expertise, as well as its transdisciplinary initiatives.<\/p>
