The New Initiatives grants aim to encourage new research avenues, bold hypotheses, or innovative new technologies, while remaining aligned with the research objectives of the Centre SÈVE. These competitions, held once a year, are reserved for members of the Centre SÈVE.

The different components are presented below, along with the regulations and specific forms for each component.

This component is reserved for researchers at the SÈVE Center who have held a permanent position for less than 5 years. The project must be carried out in collaboration with at least one other member of the SÈVE Center.

This component enables collaboration between researchers from Axis 4 “Plant Production: At the Intersection of Science and Society” and a researcher from another axis of the SÈVE Center.

This component enables the implementation of a research project that involves the general public. The aim is to promote plant sciences and sustainable development to the public.

This component enables new collaborations between college members and university members of the SÈVE Center to carry out a joint project.

This component supports members in research projects with non-academic citizen groups (e.g., the general public, non-academic and non-industrial groups, or specific communities) that actively contribute to the progress of the project.
